The colleagues are easy to get along with, and the experienced workers are willing to share their knowledge.
There are too many to count. Working here gives you firsthand experience of the bottom line of Taiwan’s exploitative bosses. 1. The Labor Standards Act stipulates that there is no probationary period, but here the probationary period is whatever they say it is. During the probationary period, there is no overtime pay and no scheduled days off. The longest probationary periods range from three months to two years. 2. The boss does not understand cost control. They only care about output and keep demanding that things be done faster, faster, faster, implying that you should work unpaid overtime. The ridiculous thing is that management cannot sell the products, so the costs are shifted onto the employees. 3. Management does not know how to manage, and the operators do not know how to run the business. The company’s direction is chaotic. They want to meddle in everything but are unwilling to hire specialists, so employees have to handle everything.
