The store is comfortable and bright

Salary: Morning shift 7:00–15:30, monthly salary NT$23,800; evening shift 15:30–24:00, monthly salary NT$27,000. Eight days off per month. One shift is 8.5 hours, including a 0.5-hour meal break. (You can only take four days off; the four unused days are paid at the daily wage.) No meals provided. Employees receive a discount when dining in the store. No annual leave.

Learning the bar and front-of-house operations only results in a pay increase of NT$1,000–2,000. This salary is far too low for the food and beverage service industry. NT$23,800 for the morning shift is an office junior assistant’s salary. Working until midnight on the evening shift for NT$27,000 is pitifully little.
