The work covers a very broad range.

It is very demanding of your time.

It is too broad—you have to know a little bit of everything.

The design team leader clearly does not want to train new hires and only makes you feel like you should know how to do even this.

The boss and the design team leader would bring one of the full-time employees into the meeting room and badmouth that employee together, yet they would not discuss face-to-face with the employee what they had done poorly. On top of that, the two of them were constantly disappearing; when you needed them to confirm something, you could not necessarily reach them even through messaging software.

The design team was extremely exploitative. Designers were forced to keep doing the work that management constantly took on, without the slightest consideration for the fact that the number of company projects had already put everyone under tremendous pressure. This caused the design quality to decline, yet the boss would act as though you could not even handle such a small matter and as though you were always late, then berate you righteously. Employee turnover was extremely high, but they could not understand that the problem lay with themselves and the design team leader.
