1. I have a professional academic background in automobiles (and a Level B Automotive Repair certification), but during my seven years of job hunting, I have only worked in electronics factories and have no relevant experience with automotive or motorcycle tools.
2. There was no written test or form to fill out; I was only interviewed by the manager of the Development Department about my relevant job-hunting experience. (There was no interview with HR.)
3. The manager mentioned that the company does not force employees to work overtime.
4. The interview was almost entirely casual conversation and lasted about 1.5 hours.
5. This company focuses on developing specialized motorcycle-related products and services, primarily for export. People with experience in motorcycle modifications, motorcycle enthusiasts, or those who are passionate about motorcycles would probably find it interesting.
The manager mentioned that salaries at traditional manufacturing companies in Taichung and Changhua are generally not high, and Changhua is about NT$5,000 lower than Taichung. (Therefore, don't expect the salary level to be particularly good.)
