Pros

Both interviewers were very elegant and sophisticated.

Cons

I applied for a position with their skincare brand, The History of Whoo.

Like interviews for other skincare brands, the first round began with a self-introduction, during which I was asked to go over all of my work experience.

Of course, this part was intended to assess my verbal communication skills. After all, being introverted is absolutely not suitable for working as a beauty consultant!

They then asked some questions about my previous work, such as which products had sold best, what the main products were, and how I would retain customers.

As for the salary and benefits, new employees have a three-month probationary period, a base salary of NT$25,000, and a monthly meal allowance of NT$2,200. There are eight days off per month, and working hours are based on the department store’s schedule. Bonuses for individual performance, team performance, and target achievement are calculated separately. There are also bonuses for the three major holidays—Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and Lunar New Year. After completing the three-month probationary period, the base salary increases by another NT$1,000, to NT$26,000. Employees receive discounts when purchasing products. That was about it. Like interviews for other skincare brands, successful applicants are notified within seven days and proceed to a second interview. I’m sharing this as a reference for anyone considering or preparing to interview there.
