I applied for an internal assistant position. At the beginning, I completed a test with questions similar to a logic assessment. Afterwards, the boss asked about some basic information from my résumé. They said that, as a small company, there is a lot to learn and that patience is needed. They also said that employees leave work on time, there is no need to work overtime, and weekends are off. It felt pretty good. If I get the opportunity to be hired, I would really like to take on the challenge.
During the somewhat lengthy interview, you can actually take the opportunity to observe and get a feel for the culture of this company. It isn't really a bad thing.
