Pros

Guaranteed objective review; be sure to read the pros and cons carefully!

1. All managers have very high standards and are extremely demanding. In my opinion, this is both an advantage and a disadvantage: you can receive solid training in job skills and learn how to handle pressure.

2. The capsule coffee and milk on the 11th floor are free to drink as much as you like, but those on the 4th floor cost money (the concept of “one country, two systems”).

Cons

As previous reviewers have said, I once again urge everyone considering applying to this company: don’t think, “It’s hard to find a job now; having a job is good enough.”

This is absolutely not a place where you can make money! Nor is it suitable for career development or settling in for the long term!

The biggest problem is the chairwoman, who should have retired long ago. If your interview with her goes smoothly, all I can say is that you are extremely unfortunate!

Do not be deceived by appearances!

Many former employees have already described her conduct, so I will not say much about events from too long ago. This time, I will update you on some of her latest deeds.

1. She loves boasting about past glory, always maintains a lofty attitude, and treats people extremely poorly.

She once directly cut a partner’s price in half and demanded that the partner carry out work not mentioned in the contract. After the partner responded that this was not feasible, she angrily asked:

“Who are you? Get your company’s chairperson here. I don’t want to talk to you! I’m the chairperson of a company with 150 employees, you know!”

2. Her sense of time is unbelievably poor. Everyone else has to accommodate her; she never accommodates anyone else.

She once made an interviewee wait nearly an hour. When the interviewee could not take it anymore and left, she entered the room, discovered no one was there, first questioned other employees about why they had not stopped the person, and then told HR to find people who were “a little more patient” for interviews in the future.

3. Employees who work overtime (unpaid) are considered good employees. She never has any idea what employees are busy with; if they are not working for her, it does not count as work.

She is in a good mood when she sees employees working overtime. She will happily greet them and tell them to keep busy and continue working overtime.

If employees are not helping her handle her side businesses, she assumes that the employees she dislikes are just wasting time, and fires them within a few days.

4. She commits all kinds of illegal acts. Afraid of being sued, she pressures employees into signing agreements to rationalize those illegal acts.

(1) Forcing employees to take unpaid leave.

(2) After discovering that there were corporate subsidies available, secretly transferring the employees’ affiliated company to another company under her or her family members’ names, so that the government would legally determine that the employees had not taken unpaid leave and they could therefore apply for corporate subsidies.

(3) To apply for subsidies, canceling the unpaid leave, but requiring employees to “pay back to the company” the unpaid leave they had already taken later. She even openly told employees in the company group chat who wanted to take leave: “You owed the company two days last month; you have to pay them back to the company.”

(This conduct was confirmed by the Labor Bureau to violate the Labor Standards Act. However, filing a complaint would mean that the complainant’s identity could not be kept confidential, and the consequences afterward are easy to imagine. This is the sad reality behind the saying that employers always prevail over employees...)

5. She commits a pile of illegal acts herself, yet makes things difficult for employees and demands that they obey the law.

Because of the pandemic, she laid off no fewer than 20 people. I personally reasonably suspect that she wanted to remove everyone who knew the company’s secrets, leaving only employees who would obediently follow her orders, because she did not lay off only ordinary employees; she also laid off important managers and senior employees.

The following is an outrageous conversation that overturned my entire sense of right and wrong. It is absolutely genuine and has not been embellished!

“You have the nerve to ask me for overtime pay. Don’t be so outrageous.”

“Did I ever tell you to work overtime?”

“At worst, I’ll throw money at you. You know who we are, right? I’ll tell people outside what kind of person you are and make sure you can’t find a job!”

6. She is deeply calculating and extremely precise when it comes to her own interests.

When she wants to lay someone off, she first asks the person:

“I heard you really want to leave?”

“I think so—I seem to have heard someone say that you’ve wanted to leave for a long time.”

“I really don’t want people to leave either. Why don’t you think it over again?”

(As soon as she hears that the person has decided not to stay, she immediately says “Okay” and leaves.)

Does anyone understand where the scheming lies in this conversation?

Answer: Her aim is to make the employee say that they want to leave. That way, she can reasonably classify the employee as having “voluntarily resigned” rather than being “laid off,” and would not have to pay severance.

That is all—the most memorable and outrageous incidents from recent times.

I have already heard many newcomers say that they had seen warnings about this company online, but still chose to interview and work there for the money.

All I can say is that this is a personal choice. If you are willing to work overtime every day without overtime pay, have your wages shortchanged from time to time, face difficulties when requesting leave, and be required to inexplicably do work outside your original responsibilities,

then you are welcome to come in and experience the hardship and learn through suffering, overturning your entire sense of right and wrong!

Still, I personally hope there will be no more victims helping this unscrupulous company make money. Ideally, it would lay off all its employees, leaving only the senior employees she likes—even if they are not necessarily welcomed by the other employees.

Additional note:

Because the owners of this company all believe that the work is simple and does not require many people, staffing is extremely limited. Employees can only serve multiple roles: they have to do work unrelated to their jobs. Office staff have to figure out how to create graphics themselves; planners also have to handle accounting or reception duties; HR also has to manage the warehouse.

As for senior employees, there is no need to say much. They only have to do their original duties or some new ones, get scolded occasionally while flattering the boss, and maintain good relationships with the boss’s favorites.

Please note that senior employees of the company may appear below the post to confuse people and may also leave fake positive reviews pretending that the company is excellent.
