No advantages at all
The steel mill environment is dirty and messy enough as it is, but the interview supervisor was also dismissive and condescending. The interviewee showed no disrespect whatsoever during the interview, yet the interviewer’s attitude was genuinely infuriating to witness.
The salary is set at 28,000, with a bunch of things bundled into it, and they still think it is higher than what other companies in the same industry offer. Employees are expected to work an extra half hour of overtime every day.
If there is overtime, the interview supervisor even said the company only gives 10 or 20 dollars for a missed-meal allowance. I really don’t understand...
Is it charity?
