Pros

1. You can learn a lo~~t of things

2. Young women are welcome to apply; women only, please!

3. Occasionally, they treat us to food

Cons

1. The office is stuck right onto the residence!

Even if they’re stuck together, they aren’t properly separated either—seriously, not okay!

2. You can hear children making noise at work during summer and winter vacations!

I really think the working environment is important!

3. Overtime on weekdays doesn’t count for overtime pay?!

We’ve never received overtime pay. Once, we were called in on a weekend to conduct an inventory check, and we did receive overtime pay, but the method of calculating it was extremely unclear. On top of that, it’s one thing not to pay overtime for weekday overtime, but the boss would even tell you: “Why can’t you finish your work? You must not be managing your time properly, which is why you can’t leave work on time. How could the company possibly pay you overtime for that?” Wow! Just typing this makes me want to swear! I work very seriously, okay! They don’t pay overtime, and it’s not just occasional overtime—we stay past quitting time almost every day! Hello? May I ask? Am I just slacking off too much?

4. Do we even have employee trips?

I’ve never been on any employee trip. When I asked colleagues who had been there longer than me, they were also evasive... I’d previously heard colleagues say that even the employees who quit before us had never gone either! So...???

5. There are no pay stubs when we receive our salaries; sometimes they even forget to calculate employees’ pay and delay payday!

They never provide pay stubs at all. They only tell us to take turns going to the boss’s wife to sign, saying salaries will be paid on the 10th. Sometimes she forgets to calculate the salaries herself and says, “Come sign tomorrow. I’m too busy and didn’t have time to calculate them!” Hello? Where is the respect? Where is the empathy? And whenever payday falls on a holiday, they delay payment! They really love delaying it, but they have to pay the money eventually, don’t they? What’s the point of delaying it?

I remember that later, there seemed to be inspectors coming to investigate the company. The boss’s wife told us to “first” clock out on time from then on, and then return to our seats and continue working. She reminded us not to wait until we were about to leave the company before clocking out. Could this behavior be... to avoid getting caught for having employees work overtime without paying overtime wages?

P.S. Applicants, please use your own judgment. I don’t know whether things have improved now, but... what do you think?
