Pros

- The operations and sales interviewers were both quite friendly.

- Both the operations and sales interviewers communicated quite clearly, so the interview was efficient.

- The operations interviewer was the manager of this unit, so at least they seemed to understand the responsibilities of the position (I’ve interviewed with many clueless administrative managers who didn’t understand the role).

Cons

- The operations interviewer was the manager of the customer service unit. I wondered why someone from sales was brought in for the interview, and whether it was because the operations manager didn’t know how to conduct interviews and needed the sales interviewer’s help.

- Customer service staff have to take turns responding to messages from home on holidays. There’s no need to reply immediately; just check and respond after some time.

If something requires further inquiry, you can reply that you’ll get back to them on Monday.

There are no clear rules for weekday evenings, but if you see a message, you should respond to it. I feel this could be quite tiring (because if you happen not to see a message first, it ends up being someone else’s responsibility to reply).

This work responsibility was not mentioned in the job description.

When applying, I also said that I was applying because the position did not require overtime.

So I feel that this was quite a waste of time.

- The sales interviewer did not leave a phone number when inviting me to the interview.

So I could only contact them through 104.

As a result, they did not see my message until after 11 p.m. that evening before replying, and they probably felt quite exasperated.
