Short overall working hours

Work from home most of the time

Although I applied for a full-time position, I only found out during the actual interview that it was really a freelance collaboration arrangement.

The income is unstable. The boss only pays when they secure a project; for miscellaneous tasks, payment is calculated hourly, but the hours are not strictly tracked. Usually, when the boss runs into you, they just give you NT$1,000 and consider it settled.

I later learned that even if the boss does secure a project, it may not necessarily be signed. In the end, there is a high probability that all you can receive is a small amount of compensation from the boss.

The working hours and tasks are both inconsistent. Even if you request leave from the boss in advance and explain that you have to travel elsewhere on certain days, they may still suddenly call you on the day of your leave and ask you to help with freelance work. If you say you cannot help because you do not have a computer with you, they will later complain that you were unavailable to work on those two days, forcing them to spend extra money hiring an external contractor.
