Cons

Job applicants are required to provide extremely comprehensive personal information (3 pages): a color headshot, your national ID card, the names of everyone in your family, the educational backgrounds of everyone in your family, your father's phone number, and the companies where everyone in your family works—an excessive amount of personal information. In the end, regardless of whether you are hired, they will take it all and not return it. I asked the HR representative what the purpose was of collecting such comprehensive personal information. She said it was to help the manager understand me better, but I don't think the manager would gain any insight from seeing my ID number......???

At the very bottom of the personal-information form, they also required me to sign my consent for the company to use my personal data (This is a powerful move!!)

To leave a good impression and increase my chances of being hired, I foolishly signed it too.....

The company posted a whole bunch of job openings. I wonder how many ____ they have already collected. Pretty sweet!!
