HR didn't discuss anything, so I don't know what is good about this company.
I interviewed for an accounting position. For the test, I was asked to write about regulations concerning withholding, non-deductible input tax, and supplementary premium contributions. This was the first time I had encountered questions like these, so I wrote down everything based on past experience that I commonly use. After handing in the test, I waited for nearly 20 minutes.
HR came in and first asked me to introduce myself. After asking a few questions about my résumé, they said, “Because your test performance was not very good, we cannot continue,” and asked me to leave. (Internal monologue: Am I here to apply for a job or to recite regulations? If I didn't pass the test, they could have just said so directly. They even wasted my time by asking me to introduce myself.) The company isn't even publicly listed, yet it has such an absurd standard. What a waste of interviewees' time.
