1. The interview environment was dirty and disorderly, and the interview was conducted directly in an area where people were working. (Although there were only two people present that day)
2. The interviewer kept paying attention to their phone during the interview, and was interrupted by phone messages several times throughout.
3. I only found out after arriving that day that there would be a computer-based test. I was given one hour, and afterward the interviewer had an expression that seemed to say, “How come you didn’t finish it?” I found this extremely bewildering. (Before the test, the interviewer repeatedly emphasized that designing a banner for the company only took two hours. If it requires two hours, yet I was given only one hour to complete the result the company wanted, that is unreasonable.)
4. After the computer-based test ended, another interviewer suddenly joined the conversation and asked the same questions again. They then began describing the company’s vision, but it felt like they were making grand promises without substance.
5. The job responsibilities seemed likely to change depending on the situation. Someone hired as a graphic designer might later be required to do marketing or planning. The relative emphasis on graphic design, marketing, and planning might also keep changing.
6. Although the leave policy is set by the company, the impression after the interview was that even during leave, employees would still need to handle company matters. (During the interview, they mentioned: “If your leave happens to coincide with an event period, are you aware that you need to make price adjustments? If you are, that shows you have good sense, and to the company, it means you are proactive. If not, then you are not proactive.”)
7. The company conducts two performance reviews each year, after which salaries may be adjusted if the reviews are passed.
8. Overtime pay is provided depending on the circumstances.
9. When you first join, you will be given a two-month contract position agreement. After becoming a permanent employee in the third month, the company will provide a Mac computer.
10. Overall, this interview experience made me feel disrespected, and the company does not appear to have well-established systems. Those considering attending an interview or accepting a position should think carefully.
