About the development team leader
His design concepts are very unconventional; he wants you to write all the code together in one place.
The three basic Java concepts he wrote about on the wiki are almost entirely incorrect.
He is not very familiar with Spring, but he expects the team members below him to "self-study" and share their knowledge with him.
He seems not to believe that Taiwanese people will stay for long, so he wants everything documented—even the things you learn on your own.
His mood is unpredictable, so if you do not have a good EQ, think twice.
There is a lot of room for improvement in his management. If you are willing to grow and improve together with him, you are welcome to apply for a position in this unit.
About this position
The programmer here needs to be on call. The main responsibility is to remotely reconnect to the platform server and turn it off and on when it goes down.
Things here are usually assigned out when deadlines are approaching.
There is no SA here, because you are both the programmer and the SA (with no change in pay).
The workload generally is not very heavy, but dealing with people is extremely troublesome (for the reasons mentioned above).
The code and pages here are difficult to maintain (for the reasons mentioned above).
You will be given many tasks (on-call duties or documentation). If they are unreasonable, they will say they want you to raise your concerns, but the result of raising them is that nothing changes.
A technical seminar must be held at the end of every month, but no outside instructor is invited; team members must share on their own, increasing the workload.
You have to act like an X at all times, otherwise you may be called into a meeting and reprimanded at any time.
