The colleagues are nice; the benefits were (originally) very good.

They only represent cheap, money-grabbing mobile games from China. You have no say in scheduling; they set unreasonable schedules and demand that you follow them strictly. When they need you, they make you work crazy overtime to accommodate the company; when they no longer need you, they transfer you to another department and then lay you off. They parachute in a bunch of well-connected buddies with high seniority as managers, fawning over the boss’s and general manager’s wrong decisions while setting excessively high targets for the staff below and coming down hard when they are not met. Their understanding of games is limited to seeing them as money-making tools, and they even make the people below work overtime to put on an act for the boss. What a fun game company.
