A one-and-a-half-hour lunch break, officially scheduled to finish work at 5:30 p.m. (but overtime is common), and no performance pressure
It is a family business, and the owner's son also works at the company. His abilities are lacking, which would be one thing, but he is also dating a colleague. They do not separate their personal and professional lives at work. Both are young but act as though they are above everyone else. The owner's son's girlfriend is responsible for training new employees, but she only takes the training seriously on the first day and completely shirks responsibility afterward.
The owner is a good person but is unable to do anything about his son. He also lets his son's girlfriend do as she pleases and is not very generous toward employees.
This workplace is very unsuitable for people who dislike this kind of family business. As far as I know, raises are rare; one employee's salary had not changed after four years of work. You have to put up with two people in their twenties treating the workplace as a dating venue.
If the owner's son and his girlfriend gossip about you behind your back, you should be psychologically prepared to be fired.
