If you're thinking of applying for an operator position at the new No. 2 plant on Nanqing Road, you can read my post here.
It's a new plant, and it gives people a really great impression.
It's a small company operating under the Hungx name, but don't assume that having the Hungx name makes it impressive.
The benefits are the same as those at technology companies elsewhere... well.
It follows Hungx's rules... but when it comes to rights and benefits... opinions may vary.
Also, there have been incidents at the main plant involving forced unpaid leave.
Do you think the No. 2 plant won't have the same issue?
The main plant is always short-staffed on 104, while the No. 2 plant has only just opened, so a bunch of people jumped in without understanding what they were getting into.
Let's start with the salary.
It's NT$26,000 plus a meal allowance, which only comes to NT$29,000. It's not a starting salary of NT$29,000, so think this through carefully.
The only extra benefit is meal provision.
There is an enormous amount of overtime. They aren't afraid of you working overtime; they're only afraid you won't want to.
As for “at least one day off every week,” don't even think about it. Of course, if you love money, you can go for it.
But I recommend calculating the overtime based on the hourly rate, because overtime under the monthly salary system is absolutely miserable.
Anyone who understands how overtime pay is calculated will naturally understand. If you don't understand what I'm saying, I can't help you either.
I can only try to warn people one at a time.
Just look at the reviews of the main plant on Google to see for yourself. There is also the issue of unpaid leave.
