Pros

I dreamed that I went to this company for an interview for an overseas sales position~

The interviewer was a woman, with delicate features, and she looked like one of my university classmates.

In terms of the industry, it appears stable (healthcare). Recently, due to the impact of the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, business seems to be doing pretty well.

First, let me talk about the interview.

As soon as you go in, you have to fill out:

1. A basic information form

2. A test paper

The test paper is divided into: 1. Personal traits (the questions are listed below) 2. An English business development email 3. Translating an article from English into Chinese (the article is related to medicine and contains many technical terms)

The personal traits questions were: (please answer in English)

1. What qualities do you think a salesperson needs to have?

2. What characteristics do you have that make us need to hire you?

3. How would you familiarize yourself with the company’s products? What resources would you hope to receive after joining the company?

4. Faced with this competitive environment, how would you plan your life? Or what goals would you like to accomplish?

5. If you fail to meet your sales target, what would you think? What methods do you think could improve sales performance?

6. What are the “4 Ps of marketing” and “SWOT analysis”?

The English business development email was also very simple. The only difficult part was translating that article from English into Chinese. Since it contained many technical terms, it was normal not to be able to write everything, but you should translate as much as you can.

As for the salary, it is not difficult to ask for more than NT$40,000. There is a guaranteed 13 months of salary; the rest depends on performance.

The company’s working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:20 p.m., with a break from 12:10 to 1:10 p.m.

After joining, there are two probationary periods. The first is the week you initially join; after passing that, there is a two-month probationary period.

The internal atmosphere seems good. Although it is an old-school company, there is not too much of that old-school atmosphere inside.

People with some medical background could give it a try (but the person who interviewed me was also not from a related field, so it is not necessarily the case that people without a relevant degree have no chance).

However, I felt that I would not be hired, so I did not ask any further questions.

I hope this information can help everyone.

P.S. Tianyancha is still better—you can share information without needing any stupid points system.

Cons

I wouldn’t know, since I didn’t get in and work there.
