There are many places to eat near Nanjing Fuxing MRT Station, and the restaurant is clean and bright.

On my first day at work, I was filling out personnel information. Because it involved the salary details of my previous company and my privacy, I asked whether it was really necessary to fill it out. The owner’s wife said it wasn’t. Five minutes later, she inexplicably said that my attitude was bad and that she no longer wanted to hire me. When I told her that I couldn’t accept such a strange and sudden reason, she flew into a rage and said, “We’re going to pay you for a full day, and you’re still refusing to leave. Do I need to call the police?” She then began hysterically repeating herself and cursing at me. I suspect she wanted someone who could do everything but would never ask any questions.

The owner tried to mediate, but she immediately started arguing with him about getting a divorce, which was extremely awkward for me. In short, think carefully before joining, because you never know when you might suddenly hit the owner’s wife’s trigger—and you won’t know what it was. Finally, they were only willing to enroll employees in labor insurance at the minimum wage level, even though they said during the interview that they followed the Labor Standards Act.
