1. The benefits are terrible. Typhoon days are unpaid, there is no group insurance, and you only get three days of leave after completing six months. They only follow the Labor Standards Act. Sick leave results in a NT$1,000 deduction from the perfect-attendance bonus, and being late also results in a NT$1,000 deduction from the perfect-attendance bonus.
2. The general manager is impractical and has wild ideas. When performance is poor, marketing is told to place products in stores. In addition to being responsible for monitoring the sales team’s performance (which should be the sales manager’s responsibility), marketing also has to pack goods in the warehouse and visit clients. Marketing handles all kinds of miscellaneous tasks, as well as processing returns and repairing products.
3. The chief marketing officer is not responsible for performance and has no practical channel experience. They just tell subordinates to do everything. The CMO has no ideas and an empty head, and does not need to care about performance at all.
4. The entire company uses paper-based processes, and the office is noisy, with people shouting.
5. Employees have to take turns serving as the duty person and help send faxes and turn off the printer.
6. The company has no systems whatsoever.
7. In this family business, they do not let you know anything. When they tell you to do something, you just do it.
8. Suitable for very obedient, compliant, inexperienced people.
9. They will cut your salary.
