The environment is okay.

During the interview, this company gives you a questionnaire with questions asking whether you have used drugs, have infectious diseases, and so on.

Two or three days after the interview, they called to say I was hired. But close to the start date, they called again and said that because I had answered “yes” to all the questions on the questionnaire, the supervisor did not want to hire someone like me, and that the documents had been rejected. I was completely dumbfounded.

They said I had been hired in the first place, which indicated that the supervisor had already reviewed all the information. Yet now they say the documents were rejected after the supervisor saw them.

If they found a better candidate, they should have just said so. How could they reject me by bringing up the questionnaire I filled out? Absolutely terrible.
