The sales manager likes to complicate things.
They apply their previous work experience to the current workplace.
They especially like to flaunt their seniority to create a sense of their own value.
Lenient with themselves, strict with others, restricting this and that.
Emotional, and also likes to meddle in everything.
Make sure you understand the company's performance-based commission structure; otherwise, you may work yourself to death and receive only a tiny amount.
The company is large, but there are only a few people in that department—basically 1+1.
If you want to do the job, first get on good terms with the sales manager; things will be much easier for you.
