The commuting hours are fairly flexible, as long as you’re not afraid of the unspoken rules.
1. The mid-level design manager abandons new employees, lacking both the ability to do the work and the willingness to manage people. They frequently make mistakes, often take leave, and handle handovers very poorly. They are always silent in communication and only send messages via phone. Not only do they fail to advocate for their subordinates’ benefits, they also stab you in the back, and have even dismissed employees only after learning they were pregnant. Working with them is neither fulfilling nor anything but exhausting.
2. The boss completely ignores communication among subordinates and only acts as a frontline salesperson, so any non-business-related problems you have cannot be resolved through them.
3. Colleagues are extremely cold. The entire office is often lifeless during work, or they take it for granted that they can order new employees around as if they were their junior siblings.
4. The workload depends on the department. Outside the sales department, you can often only coast along while collecting a paycheck, gradually questioning the meaning of life, and then being criticized by upper management for your work ability. It is unbearably frustrating.
5. The salary is extremely average. Unless you live in Taipei and do not have rent to worry about, this company is not recommended.
