The office building is very new, and the restrooms are beautiful.
1. There is absolutely no overtime pay—overtime pay, overtime pay, overtime pay. In the marketing and advertising industry, plenty of people work until 8–11 p.m.; if you do not work overtime and leave on time, your colleagues will even give you strange looks!
2. The official hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., but at exactly 10 a.m. there are usually only two or three people in the office. The rules say you must finish breakfast before 10 a.m. and cannot eat breakfast after work starts, but you can do your makeup until noon and then start discussing what to eat for lunch.
3. Regardless of whether it is spring, summer, autumn, or winter, the air conditioning is turned off promptly at 7 p.m. You then have to endure the stuffy air while working overtime. Just thinking about it feels outrageous.
4. Basically, your weekends are not really weekends. The boss or supervisor will use LINE to tag @employees after work.
5. Only a NT$300 gift voucher is given for the Mid-Autumn Festival, yet it is heavily publicized—they desperately need praise from upper management.
6. There are no salary statements—neither paper copies nor electronic versions.
7. You cannot make any money.
