The supervisor is very kind and patient, and often treats us to food when we work overtime.
As a study-abroad consulting assistant, you basically need to be able to do everything. Occasionally, you also need to help students translate their résumés and study plans. It is a responsibility-based position with no overtime pay. The workload is extremely heavy, yet the salary is only 28K... You have to work half a day on a rotating basis on Saturdays. If you work on Saturday that week, you can find another weekday to take half a day off instead (but you usually end up working overtime, so basically it never feels like you actually get any rest).
Since the company’s senior management are all foreigners, there seems to be a serious sense of white superiority. Customers also tend to respect foreign consultants more.
