The only advantage is that you can eat free croissants.
At a normal company, part-time work is paid by the hour, so shouldn’t even an extra half hour count as 0.5 hours of pay?
No! At this company, when part-time workers’ scheduled hours are over, they have to work more than half an hour—the half hour in between is considered voluntary help! The company won’t count the hours or pay overtime! Then what’s the point of working part-time?
On top of that, the supervisors lack professional knowledge and rush people into positions before they’re ready.
They say one thing one moment and change it the next. When something goes wrong, they only blame the new hires. No wonder the turnover rate is so high!
When employees raise issues with the company’s work procedures, their shifts are cut instead!
You have to lead with empathy! The leaders here have no real strengths—they’re just petty!
