The new marketing director has never done marketing, so you won't learn anything.

They are very good at making sarcastic remarks toward subordinates. A number of people have left recently because of this, so they have been frantically interviewing to find people.

Although having new people join could help share the currently overwhelming workload, in good conscience, we still recommend that you don't join. All I can say is: saving one person is one person.
