日鶴實業股份有限公司
Pros

I need some time to think about it.

Cons

1. Standard 996 schedule (8:30–8:30, six days a week, more or less)

2. Hot

3. Non-partitioned office (no air conditioning blowing onto the equipment)

4. The environment is average, and the atmosphere is poor. The year-end bonus is fairly good (that’s what the long-time employees there all say; I just never had the chance to receive it)

5. The boss has a big-head syndrome

From a three-way power struggle to two major factions, there has recently been a trend toward one faction dominating. There has been a major wave of internal resignations: the long-time employees were taken away by former supervisor A because they were driven away by former supervisor B. The current supervisor will politely say, “Let’s take it one at a time,” but in reality just doesn’t want to deal with extra trouble or be bothered.

The main problem: The boss has absolute faith in Seafood—so much so that it’s as if they’ve been bewitched. That Seafood even holds a position second only to the boss and above everyone else (in name only; in reality, this person has no real power at all). If you talk too much, they can make your life miserable.

Oh, and Seafood’s relative is also very much like a character from *The Empresses in the Palace*, and, relying on Seafood’s influence, has attained considerable power. She walks around inside as if she owns the place, and whenever Seafood appears, she is sure to be there too.

Of course, there are still good people there as well (though there are almost none left).
