The employees are all quite friendly.
The Taipei Main Station branch (near Exit M3): Break times do not comply with the Labor Standards Act; they even require employees whose working hours that day are short to “not eat” during their break.
Overtime after the end of the evening shift is not counted as paid work. They require employees to arrive at work on time, but then ask them to do other things when they are supposed to leave, making it impossible to leave on time. I think it is great when employees voluntarily help other employees outside working hours out of goodwill, but this should not become an employee’s obligation.
The store manager applies a double standard to employees. Employees the manager likes can do whatever they want, while the manager has an opinion about everything employees they dislike do ^_^.
The store manager does not comply with the Labor Standards Act, yet requires employees to follow the rules set by the store manager.
