Interview process:

B1’s store-and-office location

Because the interview was held in a meeting space, it was difficult to tell how large the office was (there seemed to be a door behind the counter).

The store experience felt very much like a bare-bones bargain-sale shop.

It just felt like things were not handled in a very systematic way.

The counter area was distinctive, but everything else was just a very casual, empty setup.

As for the interview content, most of it consisted of their curiosity and questions (my résumé was very impressive), and they had many questions and things they were curious about.

Of course, we also discussed the job duties at length. It seems to be in a stage where the old system needs reform and updating. After listening for a while, it was easy to tell that the work was probably very inefficient, the system was difficult to use, and the system update and integration process had not yet begun.

From what I heard, there were many areas that should already have caught up from an e-commerce integrated-marketing perspective. For a company that has been operating for a long time, there were a lot of bugs and problems.

Each department did things differently, with no systematic improvements. (I knew this because she mentioned an incident where a problem could have been stopped but wasn’t. It was only after the incident occurred and the usual process was followed that the customer’s response revealed the issue.) This was really outrageous!

Of course, whether to resolve these issues is the company’s own problem. All I can say is that the company has an inefficient, outdated system and culture, and although it wants to improve, progress is very slow.

Finally, regarding the expected salary, they also said that the starting salary would not be the one listed on 104; I would first have to work in a basic-level position.

In reality, this was just a disguised way of recruiting someone first.

The company does not provide bonuses on the three traditional holidays, the year-end bonus is not guaranteed, and breakfast and lunch are provided.

The company’s benefits really aren’t very good, and its concepts and systems are truly not OK.

In fact, it does not seem genuinely willing to make changes; it just wants to fill the vacancy by finding someone.

All I can say is that it’s not that I lack ability—the company lacks sincerity.

Interview advice:

All I can say is that it’s not that I lack ability; the company simply lacks the sincerity to change.

I just wanted to end this round of interviews as quickly as possible.

(A few days later) After the interview, I had absolutely no desire to work there! When I left, the other party still said they would arrange a time to contact me again in the next few days. There was no word, and about three days later, I received a rejection notification on the weekend? Honestly, I didn’t really care! My abilities exceeded the requirements of this position, and HR was just hiring people at random. After the interview, it became clear that this company really wasn’t worth joining! Sharing this with everyone.
