Position: Technical Maintenance Personnel
Locations: National Taiwan University Hospital has three locations: East Site, West Site, and the Children's Hospital
1. You can explore the entire NTU Hospital, including operating rooms, dormitories, records rooms, and more....
2. The NTU Hospital B1 food court offers employees a 5% discount when they present their employee ID.
3. You can learn how to operate and manage large-scale electrical power systems.
1. Low salary
Except for fixed night-shift workers,
other employees who occasionally rotate shifts only receive compensatory leave.
Working during the Lunar New Year holiday comes with only a small allowance—about 500 per day.
2. Shifts are divided into:
Day shift: 08:00–17:00
Evening shift: 17:00–21:00
Night shift: 21:00–08:00
It is common to work an evening shift immediately after a day shift,
or to take a break during the day shift and then continue with a night shift.
3. The first Sunday of every month is generator maintenance day.
Every employee is required to come in and assist the contractor with maintenance.
In reality, this means helping open the doors,
and it is not counted as overtime, so there is no overtime pay.
4. Work responsibilities are poorly defined.
Don't assume that you only need to maintain the electrical system
and inspect distribution panels or generators.
You also have to help replace light tubes and lamps in the hospital, install outlets, and handle other miscellaneous tasks.
In fact, these tasks take up most of the time.
You also have to assist the fire-safety team, who do not know how to install smoke-detection equipment, with installing smoke detectors.
Whatever the civil servants at NTU Hospital ask you to do, you have to do.
The most memorable example is that every outlet must have an inspection label attached,
and it is inspected once a year.
