1. Flexible working hours
2. A steady, moderate pace of work
The following is a dream I had:
1. At this company, newcomers usually have a hard time getting good positions because most of the old hands occupy the good spots without doing their jobs. They only pick the easy and enjoyable work, while newcomers who join are exploited by the veterans. Newcomers who refuse to comply will be criticized.
2. Some longtime employees seem to be just waiting for retirement. They have little ability and cannot accomplish major tasks, making them easy to replace, but they act entitled because of their seniority and assign the tasks they do not want to do to younger employees.
3. Each department has its own atmosphere, and your experience will vary depending on which department you interact with more. For example, some managers are the type who refuse to take responsibility, while others like to push things off onto others.
4. HR’s specialty is squeezing your salary. If you clock out early, even by just one minute, you have to request leave. Personal leave is counted in one-hour increments (which does not comply with the Labor Standards Act), but how this is handled also depends on the person; people in senior positions and ordinary employees receive different treatment.
5. Although it is a publicly listed company, even after completing the approval process in the system, you still have to go through the procedures manually. The system is not sufficiently advanced.
6. The salary is not high enough to make you rich.
7. If you search online, you can find plenty of gossip about the company—for example, stock manipulation.
Oh, I also dreamed that the FDA inspection failed and that the company once almost went under.
