The company strongly emphasizes the attitude of “not assuming that something is the way I think it is.” Everyone is required to verify things rather than filling in the gaps with their own assumptions and making erroneous judgments—assuming something is infeasible and therefore not doing it when there is actually no problem, or vice versa.
Communication is also highly valued, and the company’s own sayings require people to repeat assigned tasks back to avoid mistakes.
The boss’s wife allows people under her to blame the information department’s backup-person system for being merely nominal without verifying the facts. In reality, it was the imperial guards who failed to verify the situation: without the information department knowing what the problem was at all, they imagined that the matter could not be handled immediately and reported, “The person in charge is on leave, so no one can handle it.”
Oh, right—the boss’s wife’s way of handling things afterward was very diplomatic. To avoid the matter becoming endlessly contentious, she shifted the topic to the fact that the platform developed by the information department has many bugs and needs further review. She also forcefully spun the remarks blaming the backup person into “Fortunately, the information department came to the rescue.” Truly, everyone went home happy.
