Pros
The interview with the R&D team was quite pleasant.
Cons
A Chinese company (not necessarily a con; just mentioning it)
No labor or health insurance; paid in RMB (and you need to open an account on the mainland for that)
Currently rents a small office in a business center in Taiwan (I don't know what it's like inside)
Basically just an R&D liaison office
HR apparently didn't have a clear understanding of the technical requirements
The skills listed in the job posting were completely different from those described in the interview
In short, I went there for nothing. I was extremely stunned.
