There are many work meetings to begin with, and occasionally all departments and units are gathered together to be reprimanded. Overtime seems to be routine. Even if everyone in the department leaves, the workload will not decrease. The policy states that overtime must not exceed 48 hours, but employees are expected to use overtime to finish the work, which obviously means doing it for little or no additional compensation. The supervisor is quite blunt when speaking, and makes it seem as though the work is owed to them.
