Ordinary

The interviewer was extremely careless and showed no respect for the interviewee.

During my self-introduction and the follow-up questions, the interviewer kept interrupting me and was very impatient.

I had already clearly explained that I had done all the work in my portfolio myself, yet for every piece, they asked again: “Did you draw this one too?”

It felt like they had not reviewed my portfolio beforehand. The conversation was highly repetitive and went in circles. If they were really this doubtful of my abilities, why invite me to an interview?

The interviewer was not very familiar with the job responsibilities and even needed to write notes by hand on the résumé. They said they were afraid of missing anything while explaining the job duties, and kept rambling on. They had not even prepared an electronic printout and explained the details one by one beforehand, which made them seem rather disorganized.

The company was very quiet during the interview, but the supervisor said that everyone got along very well. I really could not sense that at all.

Also, although this is not the company’s fault, the entire office building felt oppressive, and I did not like it very much.
