There is water from a water purifier available to drink.....
I went for an interview last Tuesday at the head office for a telephone interviewer position. Besides me, there were two other women interviewing that day. At the time, I just found it strange. A salary of 32,000 was fairly good! How could they be so short-staffed? I thought to myself that they probably needed a lot of people for the position. Later, during the interview, after we filled out our résumés, the three interviewees were given an explanation of the job duties together. At around 5 p.m. that afternoon, I received a call from the interviewer saying that I had been hired! I was told to prepare the required documents and get ready to start work. I was originally considering the long commute, but thought that I should take the job for now since it was work. I turned down the other interviews I had already scheduled.
On my first day, the chubby interviewer turned out to be the supervisor. She spoke very quickly and was easily angered and impatient. She taught me two pages of scripts, mainly for contacting customers whose contracts had not been renewed, checking whether they wanted to replace their water purifiers. If I successfully made an appointment, it counted as a successful sale, after which I would report back to the store so they could make a second appointment. Since there were many types of water purifiers, I finished learning the material in three days, and the number of appointments I made was not small—it increased day by day. I worked for four days, followed by Saturday and Sunday off. When the new week began, two other telephone interviewers reported for work that morning! Early in the morning, she told me to call another store, where she was training the new employees. However, one of the new employees learned more slowly, so she told her to leave that afternoon. As for my calls, I was also following the script she had taught me. She began getting angry and nitpicking, apparently trying to make me say that I wanted to resign. I ignored her, and in the end she just said, “I don’t think you’re suitable,” and told me to leave. She even said, “Let’s part on good terms”..... She was truly a very baffling person.
So, during the five days I spent at the head office, all I saw was a constant stream of people coming in for interviews. Then there were nearly 10 people making interview calls (strange! How could there be more calls for interviews than calls to check on customers!?). This short-tempered supervisor, who spoke incoherently, spent every day interviewing, interviewing, interviewing, interviewing.... It really is a very strange company! They attract people with a high salary and then tell them to leave! No wonder online posts call it a terrible dead-end job, and the reviews are bad. I blame myself for not searching online first. I’m sharing this for everyone’s reference! This is my real experience—I hope everyone will be careful!
