The following is my interview experience for the “Administration and Quality Management Center (Administration Office) – Junior Staff Member” position.
1. Too many restrictions on the résumé format: The content had to be squeezed onto both sides of an A4 résumé form before it could be printed. Just filling in the autobiography section required adjusting the font size to 5–6 points so that everything would fit. I really don’t know why they print résumés like this?! Is it meant to be part of the collection at the Miniatures Museum?
2. The staff member’s attitude was poor: When I asked about the relevant regulations, I also had to deal with the irritation of someone who had just started work at 8 a.m. What is this supposed to be—are job seekers your punching bag? Afterward, I was so upset that I directly filed complaints with the Public Relations Office and the relevant personnel unit, and only then did things improve. Actually, it’s no wonder! The staff member’s attitude was so poor, and the interview supervisor didn’t seem to know what they were interviewing for either, asking all sorts of random questions, such as whether the company kept transferring you to different positions and whether you had been assigned overseas. They also kept nitpicking. No wonder this position was reopened three months after I interviewed in May this year, merely under a different name. Everyone going for an interview, please be careful!
