小魯文化事業股份有限公司
Pros

If you ask proactively, the editor-in-chief conducting the interview will earnestly and thoroughly explain what kind of staffing needs they currently have.

The editor-in-chief may appear sharp on the outside, but in conversation they seem patient and calm.

Cons

This company investigates your background starting with your family. First, they ask about your family members’ occupations, how many siblings you have, where you live, and how you get along with your roommate (??? I have no idea why they ask this either).

Then they ask whether you have a boyfriend (supposedly because an employee’s boyfriend once came to pick her up downstairs from the company every day right after work, but the editorial department at this company works overtime almost every day, so... I still don’t know why they need to ask this question).

During the interview, they completely avoid discussing salary and benefits, and even when asked, they evade the question without giving a clear answer.

Since this is a publishing company, don’t expect too much in terms of days off or anything like that. The boss doesn’t like employees who leave work on time.

In addition to investigating personality traits based on your résumé during the interview, they also investigate your religious beliefs and ancestral place of origin (not your registered household address, but your ancestral place of origin).

Well, yes, there are also many other interesting little stories.

Overall, employee turnover is extremely high, and there’s a reason for that: the average age of new hires is extremely, extremely low.
