People from Hsinchu and Taichung, be careful not to get scammed by this company.
I was fired after working for only three days.
Since I was still in the probationary period, I probably wasn't entitled to any other benefits.
This job was at a glass company on Section 1, Tianfu Road, Hsinchu City. It has three names just for the company name alone—you can find them by searching (San X Glass / X Feng Glass / Li X Laboratory Equipment).
They recently opened a branch in Nantun. People from Hsinchu and Taichung, watch out for this landmine.
Their reason for firing me was that they felt I wasn't suitable for the job.
They said they had notified me by text message, but when I checked at the time, I hadn't received anything (they probably fire people so often that they sent the text to the wrong person... Someone even said on a forum where I posted before that they had worked there too).
When it comes to work, if you want to fire me, I can have a clear conscience. I did everything you asked me to do. What does “not suitable” even mean??
I actually don't understand what this company's definition is, either. Anyway, they aren't recruiting for my position anymore (they had been recruiting since March and continued until June. Who knows how many women they went through for a position like mine in between?? I knew because I had been keeping an eye on job banks while I was about to graduate.
As for whether they were recruiting for my position even earlier, I don't know.
I guess they'll start recruiting again in a few days @@
As long as they didn't miscalculate my pay, I would have been fine (that's what I thought. But they did miscalculate my pay and underpaid me... Be careful and don't let them screw you over. This was the first time I'd seen someone miscalculate pay and underpay me. Luckily, I'm good at math, so I argued with them about it at the time).
This lousy company is now just a passerby in our lives. I'm warning Hsinchu friends who are about to graduate: don't join this lousy company and sacrifice your time, even if it's only for two or three days. (My time is precious. I'm not your f***ing test subject. I applied for an accounting assistant position, which should involve using a computer a lot, but my computer broke. Instead of repairing it promptly, you asked me if I knew how to fix it? What, did I apply for a computer repair position? If your computer is broken and I can't perform my duties properly, do you expect me to bring my own laptop to the company to work? An unbelievably useless, idiotic company - . -
This is a company I encountered three years ago, and it is still recruiting.
I'm helping them promote their advertisements, so that no little white rabbits get hurt.
Three years have passed; there must still be quite a few victims.
Recently, there are probably lots of fresh graduates looking for jobs.
A reminder to all younger students and recent graduates with plans for the future:
While you're striving and working hard to enter society,
keep your eyes wide open, okay?
They probably specifically target fresh graduates, bullying us because we're inexperienced and naive.
Don't ignore your own rights.
They enrolled me in and withdrew me from insurance on the same day. That Ms. Xin from the company kept blatantly lying, saying, “You were insured, you were insured.” Yes, you insured me and withdrew me on the same day—very impressive! Here's a like and a gold star for you.
I reported them to the Bureau of Labor Insurance.
Since I only worked for three days, there really weren't any benefits anyway.
If you can report them, report them. Otherwise, companies like this will think fresh graduates are easy to bully.
I still remember that three years ago my mom told me not to report them. Why shouldn't I report them? I should expose a company like this, shouldn't I? Who knows how many inexperienced newcomers they have bullied!
Being fired during my lunch break halfway through the day was also incredibly absurd (I guess a new accounting assistant might have been coming in to work that afternoon. Haha, I was genuinely stunned and just left. Crying for myself—I'm so stupid. I should have argued with them right then and there. It would have felt good to make a scene too XD).
They make so much money that they need to use three names to evade taxes.
They're so stingy that they won't even repair a single computer. This is how people like them drag down the standard of Taiwanese employers~
I have now worked as an accounting assistant for two years at another company on the same road. The facts prove that this company really does have problems. I have no problems working elsewhere, but working for you is a problem? If you don't want to spend money, do the work yourself. Don't refuse to spend money while expecting someone else to do the work. How unethical can you be? It's a lousy company where everyone just coasts and waits to die. They use everyone for three days, and none of them get severance pay. They think people don't know labor laws. Then they undercalculate everyone's pay by a few hundred dollars. Wow, what savings—so impressive.
Attention! Breaking news!
This lousy, do-nothing company has opened a branch. People in Taichung, be careful.
Don't fall into the trap—whatever you do, don't go there. Don't work for a company that deliberately miscalculates even your pay and maliciously refuses to pay severance. You have to know the law and speak up before they reluctantly cough up anything, and even then they deliberately get the amount wrong. Don't waste your youth. You all deserve a better company.
