The air conditioning is very cool.
Bait and switch—the online job posting is different from the actual position.
The base salary is only NT$23,100, and labor and health insurance premiums and employee welfare fees are also deducted.
The one fixed day off and one flexible rest day policy is nonsense. The interviewer directly said that, basically, out of seven days, you would be allowed to rest “one day,” and even said you might only get four days off a month. When I asked about overtime pay, the answer was extremely vague: apparently it would just be one day’s overtime pay (???).
There are no basic standards for year-end bonuses or salary adjustment policies. Anything from NT$0 to three months’ salary is “possible,” so you might not receive a single cent in year-end bonus or get even a cent of a raise. If performance is so bad that someone is not eligible for even a cent of a year-end bonus, why not just dismiss them directly? Why humiliate people with a NT$0 year-end bonus...??? (Black person shrugging in confusion)
There is no perfect-attendance bonus or performance bonus. It sounds like they simply want to buy your liver with the minimum wage.
