The job interview was originally presented as being for a full-time position, but after joining, I found out it was actually a contract position. The base salary is NT$23,000, and the bonus discussed initially was pitifully small—said to range from NT$1,000 to NT$5,000, but in reality it was only NT$1,000, and some people did not receive any. Without overtime, the total is only NT$24,000. There are no bonuses such as perfect-attendance bonuses; the only one is the performance bonus they mentioned, which is awarded at their discretion. Part-time workers even earn more than contract workers. They also keep pressuring people to work. The Zhongli plant has only just opened, and the pay is truly outrageous. I advise everyone to be careful. I heard many people will leave next month. As for benefits, the Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival bonuses are only a few thousand dollars, and the year-end bonus is one month’s salary. The benefits are much worse than those at other factories. Be careful—don’t get tricked into joining.
