台灣屈臣氏個人用品商店股份有限公司
Pros

For a service-industry salary, it's still okay.

Cons

They insist on staying open during typhoons no matter what. Although they later make up the typhoon leave for you, they disregard employees' safety and insist on operating. No one will go out during a typhoon anyway, so I don't understand why they insist on staying open. The job duties are very miscellaneous and there is a lot to do. You not only have to stock and restock products, but also need to know how to make sales and sell their private-label products. If you don't sell enough, the district supervisor will pressure you about your performance, and the store manager will pressure you too. As a result, employees have to mislead customers by saying that the private-label products work very well and urging them to buy them, even though the employees themselves don't want to use them. The working hours are very long; you often have to work an "all" shift, and they make up the hours for you afterward as well. When the district supervisor visits the store, if performance is poor, they will tell you to change this and that, rearranging displays in various ways. Employee turnover is very high, and you are often transferred. Wherever there is a staff shortage, they will transfer you there, regardless of whether you want to go. Even if the branch is very far away, you still have to go. Whether you are willing or not, being transferred three or four or more times within a year is considered normal.
