The interview questions were very easy to fill out
1. It’s not like a design company; it’s more like a print shop....
2. The company doesn’t have its own website (the interviewer said: “Because it involves some patents, we’re still organizing things and haven’t put it online yet.”)
3. The interview questions were way too HR-oriented... they had absolutely nothing to do with design... There was only one design question, and it was ridiculous:
Question: Please draw an animal, referring to the logo on the left....@@
4. I asked the interviewer, “Could I take a look at the web pages designed by your company?” They gave me a very confused look... They seemed really reluctant even to let me look at some of your company’s design work, and asked me, “What do you want to do with it?”
5. Position interviewed for: Senior Graphic Designer. I asked for at least 35K, but when I said 29K, they looked troubled.....
6. I requested not to work overtime, and the response was: “If the client sends you the files late, working overtime isn’t something I can control. The latest you’d work would be until 10 p.m., haha.” I said that when files are sent at the last minute like this, I usually handle them the next day at work, and the interviewer looked troubled again.
Summary: If you’re going there to build up design experience, I highly recommend this place. I guarantee that in less than two months after joining, you’ll learn how to give up on aesthetics.
