Cons

This discussion only covers the R&D department; I’m not sure about the others.

As the previous person mentioned, the company’s top management does not understand the difficulties of graphic design.

The R&D department has few people and is managed by a former general manager who was “invited” by the company (and does not understand computer graphics software).

At first, things may proceed normally for one or two months, but afterward, he becomes extremely unfriendly toward the employees below him. After getting upset in a meeting every week, he will definitely come back and scold the employees, regardless of whether they have done anything wrong. He will always find something to criticize them about.

The more abilities you demonstrate at the company (including drawing speed), the more your workload will definitely increase, even though management does not recognize it!

If you later encounter something difficult to draw, he will not understand you. He may even say that you are slow because he completely fails to understand the time and difficulties required by computer graphics work.

In addition, all samples delivered to the company must be kept by new employees. However, he can take them at will without informing you, or take them while you are away from your desk. If samples go missing or there is a shortage, the company will definitely pursue the employee responsible for keeping them. Sometimes he will even make matters worse by joining in and verbally attacking the employee.

In summary: When there is a problem, it is pushed onto the employees; when there is credit, the employees do not get any of it. If you can accept being scolded “at least” once a week (if a sample goes missing, they will chase you about it every day, or tell you to go speak to the person with the highest position in the company—would a new employee dare to do that?), taking all the blame when samples arrive with errors, and having enough stress tolerance to endure scolding without talking back, I think this is a good job.
