The employees at reception were very friendly.

The interview waiting time was a bit long, but I thought it was okay. However, the interviewer did not make me feel that they were sorry about it. When asking about my understanding of human resources, they briefly introduced various areas (recruitment/attendance and payroll/training), but the interviewer emphasized that payroll is not part of HR’s job responsibilities and belongs to accounting. They also considered the HR work I had previously done to be merely administrative, and showed a great deal of discrimination toward my field of study, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Throughout the interview, I did not sense much professionalism, and the questions asked were not very professional either. After the interview, they did not see me out and simply returned to their own position.

They may have been looking for someone who graduated from a human-resources-related department or already had relevant experience, but the job duties did not seem to be particularly related to HR and appeared more like managing the various branches. I do not know whether they seriously screened the resumes; it felt as though they casually asked people to come for interviews and then sent thank-you letters, wasting everyone’s time.
