Currently, the founder’s eldest son is in charge. He is very polite. They are looking for experienced technicians—people at a master-technician level who can quickly become familiar with the work and get up to speed.

Most of the forklifts at the factory are imported from Japan into Taiwan and then refurbished. There are many different brands at the factory, so newcomers can learn quite a lot.

Although the founder has already handed the business over to his eldest son, you can still see him moving around the worksite. If he sees something he dislikes, he will loudly instruct you. If the work comes to an end, he may ask employees to do gardening-related cleanup. Basically, the eight-hour workday is very full, and you will hardly stop to rest.

The most important point is that this is a family business: any family member is effectively an employee’s boss. It is common for person A to tell you to do something one way while person B tells you to do it another way, so there are often too many people giving orders. Although the hand tools are complete, they are mostly merely serviceable and limited to basic tools; there are not many specialized tools (for example, there is no 90-degree pneumatic ratchet wrench).

If you apply as a master technician, the evaluation period is only 7 days to 3 months. If you are deemed unsuitable, they will pay you in cash and ask you to leave.
