Pros

Job: Administration

Once the work is finished, you can leave work normally; as soon as the workday ends, you can go home.

The colleagues are fairly nice! But there is also a sense that it is difficult to enter their circle of trust.

After the more experienced employees become familiar with the work, they often use spare moments at work to shop online or browse websites.

The supervisor said herself that she agreed this was okay. After all, once you finish your work, you can do whatever you want as long as you do not disturb other people.

Cons

The work period was approximately several months, around two or three years ago.

There was no overtime pay.

New employees will inevitably ask about work-related matters, but experienced employees sometimes think you are inexperienced. They find it annoying when you ask about everything.

Although there is training, it depends on whether the experienced employee assigned to train you is responsible and willing to teach you.

Once, I asked an experienced employee a work-related question. She could not answer, then suddenly ran off.

I had to solve it myself and then ask other colleagues for help.

In the end, I had already been with the company for several months, but the experienced employee never showed me the SOP manual.

Yet a few days before I resigned, when she had to take over from me, she finally brought out the SOP manual.

Only then did I discover: What! The company has an SOP training manual!?

When training me, she never brought it out. She only took it out to study when she later had to do my work.

For the most part, there were no problems as long as you worked according to the supervisor's instructions.

There was only one time when something went wrong, and you were made to take the blame.

She even reprimanded you in front of everyone. When you later raised the matter with that supervisor, she refused to listen and simply walked away.

Although this was a bad experience for me because I was not originally from this industry,

there were also people who were familiar with the industry and adapted, working regular hours.

Administrative work can be monotonous, tedious, and highly repetitive.

At the time, the monthly salary was approximately NT$24,000–26,000.
