There are occasional opportunities to enjoy food and drinks.
The work involves a great deal of tedious, fragmented tasks, and frequent overtime is often required. Leaving work at the regular time can create the impression that you are not dedicated enough. Although they verbally say that you can apply for compensatory leave or convert overtime into overtime pay, applying for overtime pay will prompt a lot of questioning. Cross-departmental cooperation is extremely, extremely poor~~~
You should absolutely not offend the “senior” employees in finance or accounting. If you happen to offend them, congratulations in advance: your future days there will be very difficult to get through. So, if you want to survive, you either need to have thick enough skin that you do not care when others treat you with hostility, or have an even stronger backing—I believe you would then be able to survive very well.
